JUST A SHORT WALK FROM LE BLOEMSTRAETE
I’ve got 2 hours… let’s explore the village
No need to go far to discover a little piece of Flanders.
Just a short walk from Le Bloemstraete, discover Renescure, a Village de Flandre, with its towers and turrets, its château and a few of its local stories.
A 3.5 km walk, with information panels along the way, to enjoy at your own pace.

I’ve got the day… I’m off to explore forests, marshes and heritage
One of our favourite days out: set off by bike from Le Bloemstraete, ride through the forest, discover the marshes aboard a traditional bacôve, enjoy a good meal and take a walk through the heart of the Romelaëre nature reserve.
The return journey follows the canal along EuroVelo 5, past the historic boat lifts, before a peaceful ride back to Le Bloemstraete through the forest.
